Description

Dying of the Light is a one-volume campaign set in and around the mighty city-port of Marienburg. With an eclipse of the Chaos Moon imminent and the city in uproar and panic, the adventurers must try to discover the truth behind an ancient prophecy, and recover an strange artefact which may be the only thing that can save the city from total destruction. But not all is as it seems, and many people are following their own agendas. Who can be trusted?

The adventure takes place over nine chapters, introducing new cults and hidden organizations, and leading the PCs out into the depths of the Wasteland, a journey fraught with hazard, danger and lurking enemies. Back in Marienburg, the adventure builds to an intense climax where a split second may make the difference between success and death, and where quick wits count as much as a fast blade.

Dying of the Light is a unique multi-author project, building different styles and approaches into a cohesive and gripping experience with threads and themes linking the episodes together. As usual, it contains pre-generated PCs and hand-outs for players. And the adventure ties in with the sourcebook for the city of Marienburg, Sold Down the River.
