In Universal Century 0079, over eight months had passed since the war began, a war initiated by Side 3, the space colony furthest from Earth, which had declared itself the Principality of Zeon and launched a war of independence against the Earth Federation government. The conflict had reached a stalemate.

The White Base, having departed from Side 7, headed straight for Jaburo, the Earth Federation Forces headquarters. However, due to Char's relentless pursuit, the White Base was forced far off its planned course.

Upon arriving on Earth, the White Base was met with an attack from the Zeon forces in North America, led by Garma. The fighting was relentless. Amidst this chaos, they caught their first glimpse of the enemy. Their brief respite was short-lived, as new enemies continuously appeared before them.

It is written. Ramba Ral, the Black Tri-Stars... In the midst of battle, they experience fear and anger, and at the end of the fighting, they come to know sorrow.

After numerous battles, they finally reached Jaburo, but their respite was short-lived, as the Zaku forces had extended their reach even here. Char, who had been pursuing the White Base, discovered the hatch of the spaceship dock, the largest entrance to Jaburo. The attack on Jaburo began. Mobile suit units descended from the Gau carrier in the sky, and the enemy advanced from underwater as well. Fierce battles raged in various parts of the base...
