Thus was born a “three-headed monster”, in Varron’s words, destined to change the course of the history of the Roman State.

Triumviratus is a versatile expansion of the ONUS! series that gives you the opportunity to take command of the armies of Gaius Iulius Caesar, Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus, Marcus Licinius Crassus and the civitates of Gaul, as well as an extensive selection of entirely new allied and mercenary forces, to immerse yourself directly in the armed conflicts that changed the course of the history of Rome, Europe and the Middle East between 59 and 44 BC..

The Allies box, is filled with hordes of new mercenary units, allies and vassals of the powers of the era, coming from all corners of the Roman world, ready to serve the highest bidder, their partners -according to the winds of war and history- or their patrons, whoever they may be. Many of these units are not exclusive to the 1st century BC and the time of Caesar, but can also be used to reinforce your Hispanic armies on the battlefields of the Punic Wars, to shore up the multi-ethnic hosts of Alexander the Great’s successors in the East, and even to provide Trajan and his general, Lusius Quietus, with the kind of North African auxiliaries and symmachiarii with which to spread terror in Dacia and Parthia.
