Description

Caspar's Guide to Elementals is filled to the brim with new races, transformations, classes, and an examination of the Elemental Chaos, who lives there, how much they get along, and how much they deserve to be stabbed in the face and have their diamond palaces looted.

Devastate your foes with the new Elementalist class, with a flexible casting system based on a small number of elemental attacks customizable with a wide variety of elemental metamagic, this is a class easy enough for a new player to grasp without having to grapple with spell slots and dozens of options even for 1st-level spells, but tactically deep enough to satisfy veteran players - including that new player once they’ve got a few sessions under their belt and have figured out how the game works. Become an Arcane Knight, a heavy-armored arcane sub-class for the Fighter that’s actually good. Or follow the Way of Fire, Stone, Ice, or Storm, with any of the four elemental Monk sub-classes which live in harmony until the Fire Nation attacks.

Soar through the air as a harpy or a gargoyle, or embrace the elemental power of the nymphs: Dryads, naiads, oreads, and lampads. Or embrace elemental power on an entirely different scale by bonding with an elemental symbiote and attuning to it as though to a magic item. As you sacrifice more attunement slots to the bond, you will become more and more elemental, until by the end you are entirely made of the element you have bonded with and command its power.
