Description

This is the 3rd printing of the original version of the game that started a phenomenon. Only about 3,000 copies of this exceptional piece of gaming history were produced, making each and every one a jewel suitable for the most serious of collectors.

This specific copy has survived the test of time, perhaps a little worse for wear. The specific components are described in detail below:

Box – The box bottom is split along the side edges, while the top has residue from foam being glued on the inside and two small punctures near a corner. The cover sheet on the box is slightly misaligned with a small stain across the price, but the iconic cover is still easily recognizable.

Books – The three volume set shows some signs of wear with minor discoloration along each of the spines. The former owner wrote their name on the title page of each book. There is remarkably little staple rust for a collection of books from 1975. While these books are used, they were clearly loved. Volume 1, Men & Magic has a small tear along the spine but in all other ways is in the same condition as the other two volumes.

Reference & Correction Sheets - these loose leaf sheets are all present and have relatively minor creasing along the lower edge of the pages. There are four pages with very minor stains, the rest have very little discoloration or wear.

In summation the set is Fair/VG with the specifically mentioned conditions. This is a rare opportunity to get one of the most notable artifacts in the history of gaming. These are only available once in a blue moon, so secure yours now!
