Description

This publication is a visual study of E variants of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter plane. The 20 page, A4 size booklet contains 9 sheets of 1:48 scale drawings, 6 sheets of 1:72 scale drawings (which include a specification of external changes in various versions of the aircraft) and color profiles of 4 planes, all with English and Polish captions. The Bf 109 E-1 & E-4 trop drawings in 1:32 scale are attached as a folded A2 size sheet printed on both sides. The drawings show the panel lines and rivet lines on the airframe.

Also included is a decal sheet, which contains 1:32, 1:48 and 1:72 scale individual markings for the following planes depicted on color charts:

  • Bf 109 E-7 trop; coded 'Black 2' of 2./JG 27, Libya 1941,
  • Bf 109 E-1; coded 'White 4' of 1./JG 20, Brandenburg-Briest, September 1939,
  • Bf 109 E-7; coded 'Black 10', flown by Oblt. Hubert Mütherich of III./JG 77; Romania, summer 1941,
  • Bf 109 E-4/B; coded 'S9+GT' of 9./ZG 1, Russia, summer 1942.
