Description

In White Plume Mountain, an evil wizard has stolen three great items of magic which must be recovered.

This short line can't really do this adventure justice. The module is classic. No one who knows anything about the history of AD&D doesn't know about White Plume Mountain, It should be in the archives of even a casual collector, but if you're serious, and you want something truly unique to celebrate this highly recognizable adventure, now you're looking at the right item.

This copy belonged to the TSR Design Department, and subsequently Lawrence Schick, the module's Author. This in and of itself makes the module a treasure to be prized, but this goes one step further giving you a piece of gaming material unavailable in any other way. A copy of a letter personally penned by the author on how to scale up the adventure for higher level play.

While the letter is not original, it clearly shows that it was written on TSR letterhead, and most importantly, it offers insight into the module that can't be seen anywhere else.

The specific conditions of the individual components are as follows:

The Cover - There are the creases that are so common along the spine of the module and it has picked up some discoloration from rubbing against other books, but in sum total it can comfortably be called VG+. In the top right corner is the notation that it belongs to the design Department, which has been struck out and replaced with the name of the author.

The Module - The module booklet itself has similar creasing to the cover, but none of the discoloration. It bears the same notation in its corner as the cover. The pages are all very clean and free of any notations or other markings. The creasing is extensive enough however that it must be called VG+.

The Letter - The copy is in fantastic shape, though, because of the technology of the time is not the most perfect copy. Still it is clearly legible, and only a few crinkles mar its corners. It can be considered EX comfortably.

Get a unique perspective on one of the most well-known modules in the AD&D game with this one-of-a-kind opportunity!
