Description

The secrets of the Wildcats' resident cyborg are revealed in a thrill-packed Prestige one-shot! Coming out from behind the curtain is Ladytron's creator, Dr. Khaz, who manipulates his "daughter" to find her predecessor, the big hunk-o-man-and-machine known only as Stanley. And sparks are gonna fly when Ladytron finds her mechanical sibling.

Ladytron: She's one of the most popular members of the Wildcats, but there's still a lot even diehard 'Cats fans don't know about the sublime cyborg. Now all that's going to change with WILDCATS: LADYTRON, a Prestige Format one-shot from WILDSTORM PRODUCTIONS.

Written by Joe Casey (WILDCATS, X-Men: Children of the Atom) with art and cover by MR. MAJESTIC's Eric Canete and Juan Vlasco, LADYTRON finds half-mechanical misanthrope Maxine Manchester going solo in a torrid tale of love and violence! The (literally) explosive story carefully balances a sensitive exploration of Ladytron's sordid past — as Ladytron's creator, Dr. Khaz, manipulates his "daughter" to find her predecessor, the big hunk-of-man-and-machine known only as Stanley — with a shamelessly gratuitous, double-barreled celebration of the joys of senseless mayhem and robotic love at first sight.

After Ladytron is kidnapped by Dr. Khaz’s deranged minions and learns about her bizarre history, she is forced to hunt down one of Khaz’s first creations, a cyborg named Stanley. Stanley proves to be quite the hunk of metal, and the two soon fall in love. Mayhem and ultra-violence ensue as Ladytron and Stanley wreak havoc on the world and the man responsible for their terrifying creation.
