Plan, Fight, Command…

Command a squadron of the U.S. Navy’s elite F/A-18 Hornet Strike Fighters! You select the Pilots and arm the aircraft base on real-world mission briefings. Once you reach you objective, you evaluate threats, and do what needs to be done to destroy the target in Hornet Leader PC!

Take command as the Commander of the Air Group or “CAG” in campaigns that take place over Iraq, Libya, and North Korea from 1991 to 2007. Look over the available pilot roster and choose your pilots for the mission you select. Each pilot in your roster has his own set of unique skills and abilities that will increase with each mission, however his fatigue level will also increase and as CAG you must decide how hard to push your men as one of the many decisions that go into every mission. In Hornet Leader PC you also chose the armament of each Hornet you send out everything from the trusty AIM-9 Sidewinders to the GBU series of laser guided bombs. Once you have selected your pilots and armament you will need to lead your squadron though a dense network of enemy bandits flying everything from MiG-21s to MiG-25s while either dealing with or avoiding the deadly network of anti-air sites ranging from 23mm and 37mm AA guns to SA-2s though SA-15s in order to attack your objective. After every mission and every campaign, your performance will be evaluated based on the damage you inflict, and the losses suffered by your squadron. Your success or failure determines how tough your next mission will be because the enemy capabilities are modified by your performance in prior missions. We’ll see you in the pilot’s briefing room!
