Description

The game begins with an auction for stockpile cards representing items such as food, bicycles, gold, and first aid supplies. Resources are limited because the auction ends when the Y2K card is turned over. Now, a series of tongue-in-cheek emergencies begin, including Arizona refusing to change centuries with everyone else and Canada launching a sneak attack in the confusion of the new millennium.

Players "survive" the emergencies by having a specific stockpile item like the ham radio or bicycle. Or they can barter for the needed items from other players or the black market. A few barter cards are drawn at the beginning of the emergency phase, but new ones can only be gotten through barter for your stockpile items and surviving the emergency. On the third failure to survive an emergency, a player is out of the game. The winner is the "last man standing."
