Description

When building a Warhammer army, the best place to begin is its respective Army Book. These books are indispensable guides to painting, army selection and background material that you can find no where else.

Warhammer Armies: Dark Elves is one in a series of Warhammer Armies supplements. Each book in the series describes in detail an army, its history and its heroes. Inside you will find:

The Dark Host
A complete description of all the troops that make up the Dark Elves army.

The Dark Art
A list of the terrible enchanted items and evil Sorceresses of Naggaroth.

Painting a Dark Elf Army
How to paint your own army, plus painting tips from our 'Eavy Metal team, and the palettes of sinister colors you will need to paint your Dark Elf regiments.

The Land of Chill
Dark tales and terrifying stories that provide an insight into the nature and background of this cruel and ruthless race of Elves.

Far across the Great Ocean to the west of the Old World lies the vast continent of Naggaroth. It is a harsh and rugged wilderness above which dark clouds gather to unleash terrible storms upon the land. Beneath the massive mountain ranges lie a huge network of underground caverns through which the Dark Elves sail their dread Black Arks to launch surprise raids on the distant kingdoms of the Old World and further a field to Nippon and Cathay. But the principle target for Dark Elf invasion is the magical isle of Ulthuan, the majestic homeland of all Elven kind, from which this Dark Kindred were exiled many millennia ago.
